Jean Grey – 2018 X-Men Red
Inspired by the awesome X-Men Red run illustrated by Mahmud. A. Asrar and written by Tom Taylor. This was following the events of the 2017 mini series ‘Phoenix Resurrection – The Return of Jean Grey’.
Jean has recently been resurrected after being dead for over a decade. She assembles a new team with the intention of creating a mutant nation with full human rights.
The team consisting of Nightcrawler, Honey Badger, Gentle, Trinery and Namor are forced to act in secret. Jean is framed for the murder of a congresswoman who is psychically murdered by the resurfaced Cassandra Nova.
